David Michael Ferruolo |
Dave has
lived a very interesting, diverse and active life. He began to
study martial arts at the age of twelve and was instantly drawn
to meditation and the powers of the mind. By 14, Dave was
practicing the mental arts of projections and blocking while
engaged in sparring matches. Dave spent hours a day for years
developing his “ki” (intrinsic energy) and entering the
meditative state of “mushin” (empty mind, or clearing of the
mind), and at the age 16 was asked to run the Naha Te Dojo in
Laconia, NH.
Dave is
an incredible manifester, and his early years were no exception.
Through concentration, determination and focus, he was able to
bring into his life almost anything he desired. Although he
often was misunderstood by his teen peers because of his
abilities, he was always willing to help others and to lend what
he had. |
|
Enlisting in
the Navy at the age of 18, Dave was off to see the world. He
applied for BUD/s (Basic Underwater Demolition & SEAL training)
training in Coronado, CA. After boot camp, he was accepted to
participate in the most grueling military training known in the
world today—Navy SEALs (the Naval Special Warfare Sea, Air and
Land teams) Dave set his intention and graduated SEAL training,
spending the next few years in SEAL Team 2, in Virginia Beach.
Excelling in the SEAL Teams was no exception to Dave's
outstanding life, as he was one of the youngest and most
talented operators in SEAL Team 2 |
 |
| When his
military tour was finished, Dave moved to Minneapolis to pursue
an education and his love of music. After graduating Music
Tech., he transferred to another Minnesota college, where he
studied mainly psychology and philosophy. It was here that Dave
was first introduced to motivational psychology and metaphysical
concepts. During his college years, Dave took the time to
travel, pursuing adventures in scuba diving, rock climbing,
mountain biking and downhill skiing. Colorado, California,
Florida Keys, and the Caribbean were on his quarterly travel
schedule. Dave's motto is, "Live life to its fullest. Don't let
opportunities pass you by. Get up, get out, and go for it!" He
is a living testament to his own doctrine. |

In 1993,
Dave moved back to NH and started his scuba diving shop and
marine construction company. He has owned a web development
company and an outdoor equipment store. He also does small
business consulting and plays in bands as a guitarist and
singer. Throughout his life, Dave has never lost his love for
meditation, motivational psychology and philosophical issues.
His friends endearingly call him either 'The Counselor' or 'Mr.
Motivation.' From a very young age, friends were drawn to seek
advice and counsel on a routine basis. |
|
Several
years ago, Dave realized he had unconsciously been blocking some
of his abilities, especially in regards to his business. He
began to reconnect with his spirit and trust his instincts once
again. He began to meditate and spent days hiking the mountains
of New Hampshire with his dog. During this time, he formulated
plans for the next adventure of his life. |
|
Now Dave is writing books on
motivation, empowerment and spirituality. He gives lectures and talks about
Empowerment & Motivation, Finding your Power, Connecting with Bliss and many
other metaphysical subjects. Dave teaches private scuba diving courses and still
enjoys his marine construction company, but his greatest joy is in being a
spiritual teacher and motivational mentor. Dave has learned to follow his heart
and fulfill his life's purpose by helping other people and businesses with life
issues, motivation and spirituality.
